what you’ll learn

This training focuses on Vinyasa + Yin as complementary practices, blending intelligent sequencing, Yin Yoga principles, functional movement awareness, yoga philosophy, meditation, and nervous system regulation. The curriculum is designed to support strength, mobility, resilience, and balance while remaining accessible to a wide range of bodies and experience levels.

You’ll explore energetic anatomy and yoga therapy foundations to better understand how to adapt practices for diverse needs. While weaving together dynamic flow and restorative stillness, the course emphasizes skillful, conscious, and sustainable Vinyasa + Yin teaching.

Prana Vinyassa

This module explores Vinyasa as a breath-led, intelligently sequenced flow that unites movement, intention, and energetic awareness. You’ll learn to create creative yet sustainable sequences using wave-like transitions and purposeful pacing, cultivating strength, fluidity, and presence. Emphasis is placed on responsiveness rather than rigid choreography.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is taught as both a physical and energetic counterbalance to dynamic movement. You’ll study long-held, floor-based postures through the lenses of fascia, joints, and meridian theory, learning how to guide students safely into stillness. This module highlights Yin as a powerful practice for nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and deep embodiment.

Kundalini Yoga

This module introduces Kundalini Yoga as a practical system for cultivating energy, awareness, and resilience. You’ll explore kriya, mantra, mudra, and breath as tools to support vitality and clarity, with an emphasis on grounded integration into modern classes and daily life.

Somatic Yoga

Somatic Yoga shifts the focus from performing shapes to sensing internal experience. Through slow, mindful movement and neuromuscular re-education, you’ll learn how to support release, coordination, and embodied awareness. This module strengthens your capacity to teach with sensitivity, adaptability, and respect for the body’s innate intelligence.

Breathwork

Breathwork is explored as a key tool for regulating energy, emotions, and mental states. You’ll learn functional breathing techniques, pranayama, and regulation-based practices that can be safely integrated into both Vinyasa and Yin classes, supporting clarity, balance, and nervous system health.

Ayurveda

This module introduces the foundations of Ayurveda as a practical framework for understanding constitution, balance, and lifestyle. You’ll explore the doshas, daily rhythms, and seasonal cycles, learning how to apply this wisdom to yoga practice, sequencing, and self-care with an emphasis on sustainability.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy foundations are presented through a modern, accessible lens, emphasizing adaptation, choice, and individual needs. You’ll explore common patterns of imbalance and learn how to modify practices to support mobility, recovery, and nervous system regulation, strengthening your confidence in inclusive teaching.

Meditation

Meditation is taught as an embodied and approachable practice. You’ll explore methods such as breath awareness, mantra, and mindfulness while learning how they influence the mind and nervous system. The focus is on cultivating presence, self-regulation, and clarity both on and off the mat.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is presented as a guided practice of deep rest and conscious relaxation. You’ll learn its structure, language, and intention, along with its effects on stress, sleep, and emotional restoration. This module supports you to confidently guide others into profound states of rest and integration.

Energetic Anatomy

This module weaves together the chakra system, nadis, koshas, and subtle body awareness into a clear, practical framework. You’ll learn how energy moves through the body and how to design practices that support balance, vitality, and emotional intelligence.

Yoga Philosophy

Yoga Philosophy is explored as living, applicable wisdom. You’ll engage with key teachings from the Yoga Sutras and related texts, learning how to translate them into meaningful, modern applications that bring depth, integrity, and context to your teaching and life.

Jess Dezaux

meet your lead teacher jess

I’m Jess Dezaux, a 500-hour E-RYT and founder of the Yogánica Embodied Flow Method—a multidisciplinary practice blending movement, breathwork, somatics, and energetic anatomy.

I believe yoga can change the way we move through our lives—how we feel in our bodies, how we relate to ourselves, and how we connect with others. It invites us to soften, to wake up, and to live with more meaning.

My intention is to guide students back to themselves—to the power, clarity, and creativity already within. When we feel grounded and inspired from the inside out, we naturally show up in ways that feel authentic and aligned.

Each training is a space for community and personal evolution—a journey of remembering who we are and how we can genuinely contribute to the world around us.

Lanka Yoga -200-hour integrated YTT - testimonial from Fliss

Fliss, U.K.

I couldn’t recommend Jess’s yoga teacher training enough! Having already done a YTT previously, I was initially skeptical about doing another but Jess brought the most amazing physical practice together with a truly inspiring spiritual and philosophical journey. Jess has an immense knowledge, an incredible warmth that builds connection with people immediately, and of course, a completely rocking practice that leaves you always wanting more.

Lanka Yoga -200-hour integrated YTT - testimonial from Lola

Lola, France

I’m on my third teacher training with Jess. This could sum up pretty much everything. Jess is passionate about yoga philosophy and its practice as a whole, and she’s the best at sharing it with her students. It definitely became more than just ‘practicing a sport.’ Thanks to Jess, I’ve integrated yoga philosophy into my daily life. I could not recommend her and her trainings enough!

Lanka Yoga -200-hour integrated YTT - testimonial from Ian

Ian, U.K.

I loved my yoga teacher training with Jess. She brings a rare passion for yoga—from the physical practice to the theory and philosophy behind it—and her knowledge runs deep. She genuinely cares about her students and encourages each of us to take the practice into our own lives and share its goodness in our own way. I’d highly recommend anyone considering a YTT to do it with Jess

No. We do recommend at least 6 months of consistent practice, but more important is your willingness to learn, show up, and stay curious. You’ll be moving and learning a lot, so prior familiarity with yoga helps heaps!
ahead of time in order to get the most out of the course.

Yes. Upon completion, you’ll receive a 200HR RYT certificate valid worldwide under Yoga Alliance standards.

Will there be free time?
