what you’ll learn
In this course you will get the fundamental knowlege about the key principles of Hatha Yoga:
asana sadhana dharma
asana: healthy body
In today’s world, when we think of yoga, we often think of physical poses, or ‘asanas’. We want to explore the benefits of practicing these poses by looking at both the traditional energy-focused approach and the modern functional movement perspective. Throughout this training we will unpack the historical background of these poses and learn how to weave together traditional hatha yoga with the movement patterns of our modern lives.
We’ll dive deep into human anatomy both the physical and energetic aspects to learn how we can adapt this physical practice to suit our individual needs and circumstances. Our aim is to optimise the practice of asanas based on our unique physical and energetic needs.
sadhana: calm mind
Sadhana is all about nurturing a spiritual routine, a commitment to connecting with divinity and reaching our highest potential every day. Rather than focusing on specific methods, it emphasises the intention behind our daily actions and practices.
Our goal is to use hatha yoga tools to bring about the joyful state of mind known as “the state of yoga,” or, simply “union.” We’ll explore which practices suit our individual circumstances—considering factors like age, cultural background, and capacity to practise—and also those of our students and community.
dharma: strong purpose
As society progresses, the importance of finding our life purpose becomes more evident. We no longer want to live a life dictated by someone else’s goals. In the yoga tradition, it’s believed that finding one’s life purpose brings the most profound sense of fulfilment, and not aligning with it can lead to disease and suffering.
This life purpose is called dharma, which means living in harmony with nature and its cycles and experiencing a natural and effortless flow in life. This exploration focuses on jnana yoga, helping us gain clarity about our authentic way of living and the contributions we can make to the world. By embracing the teachings of yoga, we learn how to follow the path of least resistance in life.

My mission is to create a heart-centred community of authentic yoga practitioners and teachers. I share an adaptable & accessible hatha yoga practice tailored to suit individual needs, guiding my students toward a much healthier, more resilient, and vibrant self.
Yoga, breathwork, and meditation have transformed my life from an uninspired, anxious tradesman to a happy and purpose-driven business owner. Over the past twelve years, I’ve dedicated myself to yoga, studying with some of the world’s most influential teachers in movement, breathwork, meditation, anatomy, and more.
Yoga is my life, my career, my favourite pastime, and the foundation of my relationships. I teach my classes, workshops, and retreats in a relatable and light-hearted style, sharing practices that have personally transformed me.
